Overheard before Syracuse football takes on No. 19 Pittsburgh: ‘I expect one of those Big East rivalry games’

Syracuse, N.Y. — To their credit, the members of the Syracuse University football team we talked to on Tuesday night weren’t pretending that Thursday night’s matchup at No. 19 Pittsburgh was just another game on the schedule.
“Them being 6-0, us being 5-1, it’s a big game,” Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord said. “Everybody in the facility knows that. I definitely think there’s a sense of urgency around the facility.”
